We were in the midst of a major first floor kitchen remodel with a different contractor. He started off well and we began seeing extreme issues with his skill set. Our kitchen designer confirmed our concerns and recommended RU (wish I had gone with his ardent referral in the first place and saved thousands of dollars and time). The owner, Ed came out within two days of us firing the former contractor. This is following the pandemic lockdown that prevented businesses like this from even working for over two months, so imagine the workload for this company coming back from shutdown to restart stalled projects while managing new projects as well. Within less than 48 hours Ed was standing in my debacle of a reno with my amazing kitchen designer absorbing the fresh hell we had on our first floor from a contractor who literally installed everything off spec and out of order.

Ed and his team did an outstanding job with renovating my kitchen! Ed was communicative throughout the entire process and informed me almost daily when his team would arrive and what they would be doing. His team was polite and nice and always worked a full day (which is why my kitchen was done in a reasonable amount of time). They also made a point of cleaning up every time before they left, The attention to detail they paid attention to in my kitchen was amazing. I would highly recommend them and can’t wait to use them again when I decide to renovate my basement.
